Thunderbolt Plus is built to offer exceptional value per gram in top-tier race wax. Every bar is pine scented, and in an industry first, Fast Wax provides an ingredient list on the back of the package—giving skiers greater transparency about what goes onto their skis and into the snow.

WAX TECHNOLOGY:

Thunderbolt Plus 10 combines Fast Wax MS12 with additive J. MS12 is a highly hydrophobic high-density polyethylene composite containing two types of high-performance ceramic microspheres. Its large surface area increases water repellency, slip, and lubricity, while its strong ceramic structure improves abrasion resistance.

Additive J is a high-density polyethylene wax reinforced with a hard, non-ferrous metallic nanocomposite. Its nanoparticles add structure to the paraffin wax within the ski base, dramatically increasing durability without increasing wax hardness.

Together, these two additives put the PLUS in Thunderbolt Plus: MS12 is engineered for speed and water repellency, while additive J intensifies durability under demanding race conditions. Neither additive relies on PTFE.

Thunderbolt Plus additives are engineered and made in the USA, listed on the EPA TSCA Inventory, and registered under REACH. They contain no intentionally added forever chemicals.
