Fast Wax Base Prep I A wax specifically designed to prep skis before waxing. Helps to improve wax durability and ski speed. Contains a combination of Soft, Medium, Hard, and Micro waxes. This combination provides superior holding for the additional waxes applied for skiing.

Base Prep wax is specifically designed to prep race skis before waxing. We engineered our Base Prep to melt easier and seep deeper into your base than any other, providing a better foundation to bind with your top layer wax. Base Prep is like a super glue that holds your outer layer of wax to your ski or snowboard base. Ultra-small Base Prep wax molecules saturate deep into your ski base providing an anchor point for other layers of wax.

Fast Wax Base Prep is not only the ultimate base coat, it also EXCELS as an off-season storage and travel wax. We put a conditioning wax in it to keep your base from drying out!

When to use:

Base Prep is a base layer of wax that is meant to be used underneath other layers of wax. The fluorocarbon version of Base Prep provides racers a last line of defense for efficient glide at the end of a long race.

Base Prep is not just for skiing, Base Prep also makes an excellent off-season storage or travel wax. Keeps your base hydrated and ready for next season. Just iron in a thick layer and scrape it off once the snow starts to fly the next season. Very low iron temp required
